Eastern National Board Welcomes Two New Members
Eastern National is pleased to announce that Michael Shade and Jeff Lindeman have recently joined EN’s board of directors. EN’s board steers the organization toward a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure EN has adequate resources to advance its mission. Volunteer board members may serve up to two four-year terms.
Michael Shade
Boston, MA
Mike Shade joined Eastern National’s Board of Directors in early 2024. He currently serves as the President of The de Burlo Group, a firm based in Boston, that manages assets for institutional clients and City Pension Plans for firefighters and policemen. During his 25-year career as a portfolio manager, he has created and managed portfolios for institutional clients, analyzed securities, and worked with boards to discuss investment strategies and performance. Mike has served on the board of non-profit organizations such as the United States Tennis Association, New England; National Society of Hispanic MBAs, Boston; Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce, Boston; and Trinity Episcopal Church, Newton. He holds a B.A. in History from Washington University and an MBA and Masters in Accounting from Northeastern University.
Jeff Lindeman
San Diego, CA
As chief people, culture, and capability officer at WD-40 Company, Jeff is responsible for global oversight of the human resource function, as well as the coordination of strategy for global supply chain and quality functions. He has been with the company since 2016 and has held various management positions including, director of human resources, information technology, supply chain, and finance within the Company’s EIMEA (Europe, India, Middle East, and Africa) segment. Jeff received his Master of Science in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Walden University. He maintains a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential and serves as chair of the SHRM Certification Commission, which oversees the credentialing of human resources professionals around the world.
