A Major System Upgrade

After years of planning, our point-of-sale (POS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems achieved a significant milestone. We have completed almost all of our 130 POS locations to Lightspeed in addition to 10 more manual stores (those without POS software).  Planning for and upgrading these systems took tremendous effort and required input from all departments to assist with the heavy lift of preparing, converting and migrating legacy data into the new systems, deploying over 500 pieces of equipment, and providing significant end-user training to employees and partners.

This large body of work was undertaken to ensure long-term financial sustainability, minimize business interruptions, and prepare for changing visitor needs. There is still more work to be done, either with stores to be converted, new systems getting optimized, and processes changed, but we are well on our way to more visible data and more informed decision-making.
