Photos: The new America's National Parks™ Store at the Lincoln Memorial Undercroft (National Mall and Memorial Parks)

This fiscal year, the Eastern National team opened new America’s National Parks™ stores at multiple parks. At Fort Frederica National Monument in St. Simons Island, GA, the store was previously operated by the Friends of Fort Frederica, who decided they wanted to focus on philanthropy and shift away from retail operations. The store re-opened as an America's National Parks store on June 17th and is part of our Coastal Southeast Region.

At Delaware Water Gap we’ve reopened the store at Kittatinny Point Visitor Center, which had been closed since 2017.

And lastly, we're thrilled to announce the opening of the park store at the newly renovated Lincoln Memorial Undercroft! After years of construction, we were given space under the steps of the Lincoln Memorial where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech during the March on Washington. This store was planned to harmonize with the historic concrete pillars that support the memorial from below.
