Eastern National Announces Retail Realignment; Prepares for Future

In 2020 Eastern National was forced to make difficult reductions and changes to our regional management structure to align expenses with reduced revenues resulting from COVID-19. Though revenue has increased throughout the 2021 summer season, we continue to navigate a nationwide labor shortage and ongoing global supply chain interruptions. New Park Stores Welcome Visitors in the Midwest

The 2021 season brought two new Eastern National store projects to fruition: a newly renovated America’s National Parks™ Store at Wilson’s Creek NB in Missouri and the grand opening of the America’s National Parks™ Store at Pullman NM in Chicago. Despite the challenges brought on by government shutdowns, a global pandemic, and other unforeseen circumstances, NPS and Eastern National staff banded together to successfully create park store experiences that complement each site’s unique themes. Passport To Your National Parks® 2022 Stamp Set Announced

Passport To Your National Parks®, a member of the Eastern National family of brands, proudly announces the publication of its Passport To Your National Parks® 2022 Stamp Set. Issued annually since 1986, the Passport Stamp Series celebrates national park sites with collectible stickers that feature photographs and interpretive summaries that capture each location’s beauty, history, and character. Summer 2021 Sales and Operations Update

The rebound of travel that began in spring continued into summer, leveling off in June and July. TSA checkpoint screenings in June and July averaged 80% of 2019, which is consistent with Eastern National sales when comparing the same periods. We continue to see geographic differences in visitation trends, with rural areas and seashores seeing increased demand, while visitation to urban parks in the mid-Atlantic and northeast lagging pre-COVID levels. Outer Banks Forever Year Two Update

It is hard to believe that two years have passed since Eastern National launched Outer Banks Forever in April 2019. From the beginning, our vision has been to build a strong foundation of support for Cape Hatteras NS, Fort Raleigh NHS, and Wright Brothers NM, three amazing national parks that not only preserve local Outer Banks history, but also world history.
